Plymouth Uptown Players

aka “PUPs”

Plymouth Community Arts Council’s

Children’s Theater

The Plymouth Uptown Players is an experimental theatre group that is made up of elementary and middle school aged children.  Each season (Fall and Spring) children are invited to participate in open auditions.  All children who audition will receive a part.  The 11-week program culminates in a play which is performed at the Plymouth Community Arts Council.  The performances are open to the public.  Some of the casts are invited to perform for some of the local elementary schools as well.

The program teaches the children everything about producing and acting in a play including costumes, sets, and working together as a team with your other cast mates.

This program is lead by instructor Sharon Belobraidich,  a community theatre actor, along with several active theatre students attending the Plymouth Canton High Schools.
