Special Musical Host:

Guy Louis, Chautauqua Express

Guy Louis has presented over 4000 performances to educational, family and community audiences, always to rave reviews.  Family shows engage all ages and are perfect for community concert series, festivals, company picnics and more.  Educational assemblies for schools offer an incredible range of curriculum enhancing themes that are as popular with the teachers as they are with the students: blending awesome musical instruments, active student participation, and pertinent content. All Guy’s shows are fast-paced musical adventures, celebrating community, educational excellence and original creative expression.  Guy’s shows engage grandparents to toddlers and everyone in between.”

Special Guest Performers: Nan Washburn & Musicians from the Plymouth Symphony Orchestra

Nan Harrison Washburn is the Music Director & Conductor of Plymouth Canton Symphony Orchestras. Born in Denver and raised in Southern California, she began playing flute at age 9 and went on to earn a Master's degree from New England Conservatory.  A professional flutist and teacher for a number of years, Nan thought it would be even more fun to conduct an orchestra and devoted herself to learning the craft. She has conducted many orchestras throughout the U.S and has received 17 ASCAP Awards for her programming of American composers.
